1) SHOPPING ON SANTA CRISTINA’S ONLINE STORE

There’s no need to create an account to make purchases from the Santa Cristina website. However, we do recommend that you create an account to access private areas and services reserved exclusively for our customers.

Each wine has a Fact Sheet where you can find a description and details about the product.
If the vintage of the wine you ordered runs out of stock between the time order is place and the time order is shipped, we will send you notification to the email address provided when you placed the order. You have the option of cancelling the item or accepting the currently available vintage within 2 working days from receipt of notification. If we do not receive any reply, we will cancel only the unavailable item from your order.

HOW TO ORDER

To order an item from our website:

  1. Once you have selected a wine, add the number of items you wish to purchase
  2. Add the item(s) to your Shopping Cart
  3. When you are done shopping, click on the Shopping Cart
  4. Enter shipping information and on the following screen provide a method of payment
  5. Double check to make sure all details have been entered correctly and click on PLACE YOUR ORDER to submit your order
  6. You will be directed to our bank’s website BNL (Banca Nazionale del Lavoro) who has partnered with us to manage our online payments.

Within several minutes, we will send you a confirmation email with complete details of the order placed. Our warehouse will prepare your order. Once your order has shipped, we will send you another confirmation email providing you with shipping details.

Your order has been confirmed and we have already sent you a confirmation email with your order number.

ORDER SHIPPED:

AAs soon as your order ships from our warehouse, we will send you a confirmation email with the tracking number so you can track your package on the courier’s website. You can receive information about the status of your order by contacting Customer Care at info@customercare.it.

2)  PAYMENT METHODS

2.1 PAYMENT BY CREDIT CARD

On the Payment Method screen, you will be asked to enter your credit card information.  To guarantee secure online transactions, you must enter your credit card’s Security Code:

  • Visa and Master Card have a three-digit security code printed on the back of the card on the signature panel of the card.

When you make purchases on Santa Cristina, your payment is managed through certified data encryption protocol SSL3. 2.2 DEBITS

When you place your order, the total amount to be billed will be held on your credit card.  Your credit card will be charged when the order has been prepared and has been picked up by the courier for delivery to you.  Payments are made directly on our bank’s server:  Santa Cristina does not have access to any of your credit card information.

2.3 PAYMENT INVOICE


The invoice address will be the same as the shipping address. You may enter an invoicing address that is different than the shipping address only within the same country. No changes can be made to the invoice once it has been issued. IVA (Italian national tax) is already included in the prices you see on our website and in your Shopping Cart. The invoice for your order, issued by and shipped by Santa Cristina, will be sent to you by email.

NShould you return any items, we will issue a credit note.

2.4  HOW DO REFUNDS WORK?

Refunds will be made using the same payment method used when you placed the order. After our warehouse has received the returned items and verified that all conditions have been met, you will receive a confirmation email. Once we have received from you the reason for your right of withdrawal, the refund will be made within 14 working days on the credit or debit card used for placing the order. Timing to receive refunds depends on the credit card issuer and/or payment method you used.

3) SANTA CRISTINA ONLINE STORE SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY TERMS

SPSTANDARD SHIPPING

Shipping and Delivery Free of Charge

Santa Cristina ships and delivers your orders with specialized couriers (SDA, BRT, DHL) in 4 to 5 working days. Upon delivery, it is your responsibility to inspect the package for signs of damage.  Should you have any doubts or notice any damage, you must make a written notation of such damage on the courier’s delivery note. Furthermore, upon delivery it is your responsibility to verify:  that the number of cases delivered corresponds to the number of cases on your order; that the external packaging is intact (not damaged or tampered with) and that all cartons are sealed with our personalized “Santa Cristina” packing material (and have not been substituted with other packing material). All complaints and/or discrepancies must be immediately reported to the courier, who will then make delivery which will be subject to verification. Customers must send us notification by email within 8 days of delivery with a complete description and definition of the defects, discrepancies and/or damages found. Once the courier’s delivery notice has been signed, you will not be able to make any further objections regarding the conditions of the cartons delivered to you and at this point the sale is final.

Delivery schedules are calculated using business days. The following holidays are excluded:  January 1st, January 6th, April 25th, May 1st, June 2nd, August 15th and 16th, November 1st, December 7th, 8th, 25th and 26th.

4) RETURNS AND REFUND POLICY AND PROCEDURE

Pursuant to provisions set forth in Legislative Decree 206 of 2005 Consumer Code, you can return purchased items free of charge within 14 working days from the date of delivery.

In order to return items, customers must send an email to the following email address:

info@santacristina.wine providing the following information:

  • number and date of your order as indicated in our email with your order confirmation
  • invoice number
  • indicate which items you wish to return and their respective item numbers
  • detail the reason for return

Our Customer Care office will reply within one working day and will send you an email with instructions and waybill in order to easily return the items.

Per procedere con Returns must meet the following conditions:

  • the item(s) returned must be perfectly intact.  Upon arrival at the Santa Cristina warehouse, the item(s) will be inspected to determine possible damages and/or tampering.
  • the right to withdrawal is only applicable to individual consumers.  This excludes purchases made by resellers or business clients.
     
TEMPTIMING OF REFUNDS

Santa Cristina shall reimburse customers for the items returned within 14 working days from the date our warehouse received them. The refund amount shall be equal to the amounts indicated in the original invoice of sale.

5.3 HOW TO PURCHASE OUR PRODUCTS

Product images and photographs are for illustrative purposes only and are used to help customers recognize our products. Actual products shipped and delivered to our customers may vary from the images on our website due to changes in packaging and/or labeling.

Santa Cristina will confirm customers’ orders with a confirmation email sent to the email address provided by the customer during the ordering process. This confirmation email will detail the date and time order was received and provide an order number. Customers are required to keep this number and use it in all further communications with Santa Cristina.

If Santa Cristina is not able to accept the customer’s order, Santa Cristina will immediately send a message to the customer, using the email address provided during the ordering process.

Prices indicated on our website www.shop.santacristina.wine are our retail prices and are inclusive of I.V.A. (VAT) tax.

Santa Cristina reserves the right to change prices at any time, without prior notice, updating the website accordingly. Should the prices be published incorrectly on the website, Santa Cristina reserves the right to refuse the order.
